KALEN Human AcLDL is purified human LDL (d=1.019 - 1.063 g/mL), acetylated with acetic anhydride, purified, ultrafiltered and packaged aseptically under nitrogen. The product is provided in a solution with 154 mM NaCl and 0.34 uM EDTA, at pH 7.2. The protein concentration is 1.0 mg/mL. Purity is assessed by agarose gel electrophoresis.

Reproducibility of Acetylation
Because of our proprietary manufacturing process, KALEN Human AcLDL is consistent from lot to lot. The results in the figure at right show the relative electrophoretic mobility (REM) as compared with native LDL. Results are plotted as a percentage of the mean.
